Performance and Stability

  • Enhanced Stability & Performance: Dramatic improvements have been made at multiple layers, enhancing the overall stability and performance of the software.

  • Synchronization Protocol Improvements: Significant advancements in the synchronization protocol, especially in the processing of chain-proofs. Tasks that previously took more than 10 minutes are now completed in mere seconds.

  • StatusBar Mechanics Refinement: As highlighted on our Twitter, the status bar mechanics have been enhanced. Now, each subsystem, including individual connections, can establish its dedicated status bar view. All such views are prioritized based on internal heuristics.

  • Bootstrap Sequence: Improvements to the initial bootstrap sequence ensure a smoother startup.

Languages & Scripting

  • GridScript++ & GridScript Extensions: Both GridScript++ and GridScript languages have undergone extensive modifications and improvements. While it’s vast to enumerate all the changes here, watch out for the upcoming comprehensive documentation and tutorials.

  • GridScript Utility Addition: A new utility has been added to GridScript that allows users to analyze the market depth and total market capitalization of GRIDNET OS in real-time.

  • Embedded HTTP/Web-socket Server Patch: Following our regular security assessments, we identified a potential vulnerability in our embedded HTTP/web-socket server.   • Support for Alternative Histories: Enhanced support for forks ensures that even events from the Genesis Block could theoretically be revisited.
